Welcome to the oldest canopy tour in Guanacaste and the 2nd one built in Costa Rica; The Congo Trail Canopy Tour. This canopy; We personally recommend this Canopy for people of any ages and especially for families.
The Congo Trail Canopy Tour is located very close to the beaches of “Coco- Ocotal – Hermosa- Panama- and Gulf of Papagayo.” Once you arrive at the site of the tour, the Guides will get you ready for the ride of your life.
In the first platform, the guides will give you the intrusions; then, you’ll be ready to fly down the suspended cables. During the tour, you’ll come across a walk bridge between two platforms. This is a truly exhilarating and exciting experience. If we are lucky, even the Howler Monkeys will be your company during a part of this great Tour.

We have two options with different activities, so you can choose the one that you prefer:
Canopy Zip Line Tour (Original one):
There are 14 platforms, 11 cables and 3 hanging bridges with a distance of 400 mts, one of 200 mts, one of 150 mts, two of 100 mts, three of 80 mts and three of 50 mts. Platform height: up to 30 mts.
Extreme Canopy Zip Line Tour:
Try some cables over 450 meters in length and feel the freedom as you glide through the forest canopy… three different times. Then experience the rush of rappelling from 22 meters up in the canopy, and finish this exciting activity with a Tarzan Swing drop. The Congo Trail Extreme Tarzan Swing is known as one of the most exhilarating rides in Guanacaste!
What to Bring:
Yes, our tours are private. During the activities there might be another people in the facilities, but you will have your own transportation and your own guide.
Yes, your vehicle will wait and stay with you throughout the day, so you can leave things in the car if you wish.
Yes, we usually make a quick stop along the way if you want to go to a supermarket. These are limited to 15minutes and along the way. If you need a longer stop, please check in advance.
